NEW DELHI  INDIA, March 20: The NITI Aayog Women's Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) is set to host the fifth edition of the Women Transforming India (WTI) Awards on Monday, the top public policy think tank has informed. All 75 winners selected on the basis of nominations received in the WEP and through shortlisted by the Search and Selection Committee represent different regions and sectors. The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) aims to build a vibrant ecosystem of women-led enterprises, the platform promotes industry linkages and raises awareness of existing programs and services. More than 900 businesswomen have benefited through 77 programs and events hosted by the platform so far. The platform has taken an active role during Covid-19 by conducting webinars to provide business support to women entrepreneurs and through its Masking It Up campaign, women-led small businesses in India have been passively supported.
